Will I get to talk to my doctor before I have surgery?
Yes, you will be able to speak with your surgeon and anesthesia provider before you have surgery.
Do I need someone to stay with me during my surgery?
If the patient is a minor, a parent/legal guardian must be in the building at all times once the patient is checked in. If you are an adult patient, you are required to have an escort available to give you a ride home after discharge. We also require that a responsible adult stay with you at home for the first 24 hours after surgery.
What do I need to bring to the surgery center?
Picture ID, insurance card, and payment for deductibles and copay’s. While we provide a bag for your clothes, we ask that you leave all valuables at home, including jewelry.
What does nothing to eat or drink past midnight mean?
No food, gum, candy, or even swallowing water when brushing your teeth. Please see your pre-operative instructions for information regarding your medications.
What happens if I accidentally eat something after midnight?
Your surgery could be cancelled.
How long will I be in recovery?
The length of your stay depends on the type of surgery you are having. The pre-operative nurse will call you with instructions and give you information on your recovery stay.
Do you have wireless internet connection in your lobby?

After my surgery, about how long until I’m able to drive?
